The Char Dham shrines are open only during specific months due to harsh winter conditions in the Himalayas. The ideal time for the yatra is from May to mid-June and September to mid-October.

10 Days of spiritual exploration through the Himalayas

Arrival & Transfer to Barkot

Upon arrival at Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport, you'll be greeted and transferred to Barkot or Jankichatti. Check into your hotel and settle in for the night, preparing for the spiritual journey ahead.

Yamunotri Darshan

Trek or ride to Yamunotri from Jankichatti (6 km). Take a holy dip in Surya Kund, a hot spring, before offering prayers at Yamunotri Temple. Return to Jankichatti and relax at the hotel.

Drive to Uttarkashi

After breakfast, depart for Uttarkashi. En route, visit Shivgufa and Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy a free day of rest to acclimatize.

Gangotri Darshan

Early morning drive to Gangotri, stopping at Gangnani Hot Spring. Take a holy dip in the sacred waters of the Ganges and offer prayers at Gangotri Temple. Return to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.

Drive to Guptkashi

Journey to Guptkashi through scenic landscapes. En route, visit Ardh Narishwar Temple. Upon reaching Guptkashi or Phata, check into your hotel and rest for the night.

Kedarnath Pilgrimage

Travel to Kedarnath. Drive to Sonprayag and continue to Gaurikund to begin the 14 km trek. After reaching Kedarnath, visit the temple, Shankaracharya Samadhi, and Bheem Sheela. Overnight in Kedarnath.

Return from Kedarnath

Descend from Kedarnath to Gaurikund and take a shared taxi back to Sonprayag. Return to your hotel in Guptkashi or Phata for an overnight stay.

Badrinath Darshan

Drive to Badrinath and check into your hotel. Take a holy bath in Taptkund and visit Badrivishal Temple. Attend the evening aarti, immersing yourself in the spiritual atmosphere. Overnight in Badrinath.

Joshimath & Drive to Devprayag

Visit Vishnuprayag, Narsingh Temple, Karnprayag, and Nandprayag before reaching Devprayag. Check into your hotel and relax for the night.

Return to Haridwar/Dehradun

Depart for Haridwar or Dehradun. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel, railway station, or airport, marking the end of your spiritual journey through the Chardham Yatra.
